Alumni Club of Brazil Scholarship Fund

The Alumni Club of Brazil Scholarship Fund supports students interested in select academic and experiential programs at The Ohio State University, including international, summer, and professional opportunities.

Applications are collected by the Brazil Gateway and reviewed by Ohio State staff in each respective program area. This scholarship is open to applicants of any nationality, and is not limited to Brazilian citizens.

How to Apply

To apply for any of the scholarship opportunities listed below, applicants must submit responses to the following two questions:

  1. Experience & Goals: Provide a brief summary of your academic and/or professional experience and explain how Ohio State’s selected program connects to your future goals.

  2. Candidate Strengths: What characteristics do you possess that make you a strong candidate to receive an Alumni Club of Brazil Scholarship?

Program Opportunities & Funding

1. High School Summer Programs

  • Eligible Programs: College of Arts and Sciences Exploration Program, Neuroscience Summer Camp, Soccer Camp, and MD Camp.

  • Funding: $325 – $750 (1–2 awards available).

  • Program Timeline: Application deadline in March/April; starts in June.

  • Scholarship Key Dates:

    • Opens: January 5, 2026

    • Deadline: February 5, 2026

    • Notification: February 13, 2026

    • Confirmation: February 27, 2026

2. Moritz College of Law – Foundations of U.S. Law

  • Funding: $1,000 (1 award available).

  • Program Timeline: Rolling basis (Final deadline June 1); Program dates: June 8 – June 26, 2026.

  • Scholarship Key Dates:

    • Opens: January 13, 2026

    • Deadline: February 10, 2026

    • Notification: March 3, 2026

    • Confirmation: April 7, 2026

3. Ohio International Internship Program (TOP)

College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences

  • Funding: $595 (2 awards available).

  • Program Timeline: Year-round (Preferred: August – November).

  • Scholarship Key Dates:

    • Opens: August – October 2026

    • Deadline: October 30, 2026

    • Notification: November 9, 2026

    • Confirmation: November 16, 2026

4. Graduate Fee Waiver Awards

  • Funding: $70 (3 awards available).

  • Program Timeline: Varies by program (Primarily Nov 2026 – Jan 2027).

  • Scholarship Key Dates:

    • Opens: September 4, 2026

    • Deadline: October 9, 2026

    • Notification: October 19, 2026

    • Confirmation: October 30, 2026

Additional Information

The Alumni Club of Brazil 2026 Buckeye Funder Campaign will run from May 4 – June 4, 2026, supporting continued scholarship funding for Ohio State programs.
